Mary Moody Northern Theatre is an exciting part of the professional theater program at St. Edward's University, a private Catholic college in downtown Austin.

The casual theater hosts approximately six plays every year. Students and professional actors work together in the productions.

Plays run the gamut, from Moliere to Rogers & Hammerstein. Productions in the Mary Moody Northern Theatre consistently win awards from the local arts community.

Each year Austin Shakespeare teams up with St. Edwards to bring the comprehensive, two-week workshop for high school and middle school actors. The workshop participants stage a performance each year at the Mary Moody Northern Theatre.
